Brent Bulls are pleased to present an opportunity for coaches with Sport Structures to gain an official Basketball England Level 2 in Coaching Basketball in January 2021.
Our Director and Head Coach Clive Castillo will be organising and running the course which takes place over one weekend for the virtual sessions (Saturday 30th January 2021, Sunday 31st January 2021). 1 Practical session will follow after, with more details to be announced. The course overview is below:

Sunday 31st January 2021, 9:30-11:30am, 12:30-2:30pm
1 Practice Session Date: TBC
Level 2 is the standard level of coaching qualification for all club coaches at the local level. The award gives a general overview of all aspects of basketball, and a basic introduction to sports coaching. Learners can expect to cover the following:
- Role of the coach
- Planning and delivering training sessions
- Individual fundamentals
- Team fundamentals
- Developing team play
- Sports science
